You don't need a Kindle device to read Amazon books. It can handle books from Amazon as well as anything from your library via Libby(Opens in a new window).

It was an easy click to open mobi file directly in my iPhone with Kindle app before. It was an "Open" function which took me directly to the Kindle app and then I could start reading right away. However, now when I click on the three dots (...) on the top right inside Dropbox file, the "Open" function was gone and replaced by a function called "Export", the closest function I surmise the same or similar as the "Open" function before. It then took me to a page where I can find "Kindle" app icon which was supposed to open the file with Kindle app. I clicked on it and then it took me to "Send to Kindle" with a "Send" function. It returned with a message "Success Your document has been uplaoded and will be delivered to your Kindle shortly." I clicked OK and then went to Kindle app but I could not find the document inside my Kindle app library. I tried the above several times and even waited until the next day. The document(s) still doesn't show up. What had happened to Dropbox programming? Why the easier way to open up mobi file was abandoned and replaced with something that didn't work?

The same problem occurred when I finished upgrading the iOS to version 13.5.1. To disconnect Kindle app from the mobile, do you mean to disconnect it from the iOS setting (I can't find any function to disconnect it) or removing the app itself directly from it? If the latter, I am afraid of losing the existing files in the app.

Thanks for the head-up. However, I am not using other app but to open a mobi file from within Dropbox. You can say Kindle is not a Dropbox app but I see that before Dropbox can open up any mobi file directly from within Dropbox in association with Kindle. It's just that now it can't be anymore. That's why I asked for help. The problem persists. Is there any other out there having the same or similar problem? Did Lusil or Walter check my Dropbox photos in the above link during the above thread discussion?
